DEPHOSPHORIZATION OF COKE

PURPOSE:To prepare dephosphorized coke in a simple process at a low cost, by performing pickling of coke under specified conditions. CONSTITUTION:Pickling of coke in powder or particles is performed with sulfuric acid, etc. under conditions which satisfy relations shown by equations I and II [where t is time of immersion (hr); T is temp. of liquid ( deg.C)] and fall within the area bound by curves A (temp. of liquid: 60, 40 and 24 deg.C) and straight line B.
