PURPOSE:To expand the range of applications of a telephone set by using a speaker of a radio equipment to listen to a message reproduced by a recording/ reproducing part of an automatic answering telephone set so as to attain listening of the message at a position apart from the telephone set. CONSTITUTION:A telephone line 1 of a caller telephone set is connected to a connection terminal 2 of the automatic answering telephone set A and a coupling section opens/closes the line 1. Further, a response section 8 replies the absence to the caller telephone set via an I/O port 4 and a message recording/reproducing part 9 records-reproduces the input message from the line 1. Moreover, the voice message reproduced by the reproducing part 9 is transmitted to a high frequency transceiver 20 of a radio telephone set B from a high frequency transceiver 16. The voice message from the telephone set recieved by the transceiver 20 is generated from a speaker 26, the voice message from the speaker 26 is listened to by users so as to attain the listening of the message at a position apart from the telephone set A.
