PURPOSE:To provide a thermoplastic resin compsn. having improved resistance to heat and impact, containing an imide copolymer derived from a copolymer comprising a residue of an arom. vinyl monomer and a residue of a vinyl cyanide monomer. CONSTITUTION:A resin compsn. contains 10-90pts. (by weight, the same applies hereinbelow) imide polymer (A) contg. an imide group, obtd. by graft- polymerizing an arom. vinyl monomer, an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride and optionally a copolymerizable vinyl monomer onto 0-40pts. rubber polymer and 3-50pts. copolymer composed of 40-80% residue of an arom. vinyl monomer, 15-40% residue of a vinyl cyanide monomer and 0-40% residue of a copolymerizable vinyl monomer,and reacting ammonia and/or a primary amine with the copolymer wherein the sum of the residues of the monomers to be graft-polymerized is 30-97pts., 0-90pts. graft copolymer (B) comprising 3-70% rubbery polymer and 30-80% residue of an arom. vinyl monomer and a copolymer (C) comprising 40-90% residue of an arom. vinyl monomer.
