PURPOSE:To shorten a measuring time and to remove uncomfortableness at the time of measurement by fixing a preheating member to a temperature sensing part and forming a preheating temperature control device for controlling a heater so that the temperature of the temperature sensing part is kept at a fixed level. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 5 formed on a body 1 is depressed, current is supplied to the heater 3c through the preheating temperature control device 4 formed in the boy 1 and the preheating member 3b is heated. Consequently, the temperature of the temperature sensitive part 3a reaches a prescribed temperature (about 32-33 deg.C) within several seconds, and then controlled so that the temperature is maintained. When the switch 5 is depressed again at the time of measurement, current supply to the heater 3c is stopped and bodily temperature measurable state is formed. Thus, the highly accurate measurement of bodily temperature can be attained for an extremely short period as compared with an ordinary clinical thermometer. Since the temperature of the measuring part is near the bodily temperature, uncomfortableness which may be sensed when a cold measuring part is touched with a body is removed and the bodily temperature can be measured under comfortable state. |
