PURPOSE:To reduce the material cost of a fixed frame and its processing expense, by forming the fixed frame of a stator of an electric motor with a metallic plate and providing a pair of mounting plates with the periphery being opposed to each other in an axial direction while forming a cylindrical bearing by extruding in the mounting plate. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 13 of an electric motor and its stator 1, being enveloped by a fixed frame 2 formed in a cap shape by pressing an iron plate, are fixed by arranging a pair of mounting plates 4 parallelly opposed to each other in the periphery so as to hold an end surface. The mounting plate 4, forming a cylindrical bearing 5 by burring work corresponding to a threaded hole 12 in a supporting frame 10, pivotally mounts the supporting frame 10 by a supporting screw 11. Consequently, a supporting device, forming a bearing part in separate parts, enables a quality of the fixed frame and its material to be leveled down to the minimum required limit.
