PURPOSE:To provide a reduction image having high quality easily and quickly by adding picture element informations sequencially which are written to a coordinate address in an image memory, and using the result which is obtained by dividing it by the number of addition as image information. CONSTITUTION:A coordinate conversion calculation circuit 2 performs filing of the picture element information, which is written to the same coordinate address of an output image memory, based on the result of coordinate conversion calculation. The image picture element information filled is added sequencially to a line buffer 7, finding the sum of products of the input picture element information corresponding to each coordinate address. The number of addition of the picture element information written to the same coordinate address of a memory 3 is found in an adder 6. The added picture element information written in a buffer 7 is divided by the number of addition, the result being written in the corresponding address oft he memory 3. |
