PURPOSE:To prevent the application of revolving torque and an impact to an optical semiconductor element, and to miniaturize the element by inserting the element to a flange section, interposing a module proper and welding a flange notching section with which the module main body is brought into contact. CONSTITUTION:An optical semiconductor element 2 is inserted into a flange 5, which consists of a metal difficult to be affected by an ambient temperature such as stainless steel and has an inserting hole 51, a terminal inserting hole 52, fitting holes 53 and a notch section 54, while a terminal section is inserted into the inserting hole 52. A module proper 6 to which a head-section inserting hole 61 for the element 2 is bored is fitted into the inserting hole 51 for the flange section 5 while inserting a head section in the element 2. A plurality of positions of a contacting section between the notch section 54 of the flange section 5 and the outer circumference of the proper 6 are welded by a laser, electric welding or the like. |
