COORDINATE INPUT DEVICE WITH DISPLAY

PURPOSE:To transmit and display immediately a hand-writing character or graphic form by displaying a graphic data inputted from a tablet on a display device and transmitting it via a modulation-demodulation circuit. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic pen 200 applies a local magnetic bias to a tablet 100 having two sets of position detection sections where a flat magnetic sub stance stacked on the lower part of the display device 300 is provided alternate ly with exciting and detecting lines in parallel and having the constitution that the exciting and detection lines are overlapped so as to be made orthogonal together. A position detection circuit 500 detects a position extracted from each detection line of the tablet 100 and designated by the magnetic pen, the modulation-demodulation circuit 800 converts the data into a signal suitable for a transmission circuit via a processor 700 and inverts it to transmit the data through a telephone set 900.
