PURPOSE:To easily make focus adjustment by adjusting display to the distance to an object recognized by a user, by displaying the position of a master lens in the picture of a view finder. CONSTITUTION:A change-over switch (SW) interlocked with a seesaw button which is forced to an intermediate position moves a master lens forward and backward when a normal rotation output and reverse rotation output are inputted to a motor driving circuit 14 by operating the seesaw button. The rotation of a focus ring (FR) by manual adjustment is inputted in a variable resistor 15 through a decelerating mechanism and a voltage value corresponding to the resistance value of the variable resistor 15 is inputted in an AD converter circuit 16. The AD-converted data correspond to the rotated position of the focus ring and an arithmetic circuit 17 which inputs the AD-converted data converts the AD data into focus distance data. The focus distance data is inputted in a character generator 18 and converted into character signals and the character signals are multiplexed upon luminance signals at a multiplexing circuit 19. The multiplexed output is supplied to an electronic viewfinder and the focus distance is displayed in the picture of the finder. |
