PURPOSE:To prevent photographing previously from failure by displaying the sensitivity of a film to be used and the effective distance of flash with visual relation. CONSTITUTION:When a voltage is applied between a common electrode COM1 and a line 1, between the COM1 and a line 2, between a COM1 and a line 3 and between a line 1 and a common electrode COM2 on the basis of dynamic driving, distance divisions 3-6, 12 and the unit (m) of distances are collectively colored, bar graphs 4a, 4b indicating the distance divisions 3, 4 are colored and a bar graph 4c indicating the distance division 6 is turned on and off. On the basis on the on and off of the bar graph 4c, that the sensitivity of the film to be used is 200 is clearly indicated. Since a liquid crystal display plate 1 has two common electrodes COM1, COM2, its matrix is driven by 1/2 duty. The effective range of a flash effective distance at the time of flash photographing is displayed by turning on and off the bar graph.
