<p>PURPOSE:To enhance dust collection efficiency by performing stable and uniform discharge by increasing a dust collection area by forming the wall surface of a cylinder by an electrode plate and arranging a needle electrode in the opening surface of said cylinder. CONSTITUTION:An air purifier 1 is equipped with a two-split type frame body 4 made of a synthetic resin having a front surface suction port 2 and an upper surface exhaust port 3, a cylindrical air permeable electrode plate 6 having a suction opening 5 coinciding with the suction port 2 and the dielectric filter 7 held along the inner surface of the electrode plate 6 in a freely detachable manner. Further, a blowing part 8 is received in the rear part of the frame body 4 and the freely detachable suction grill body 9 for covering the suction grill body 9 for covering the suction port 2 and the needle electrode 10 formed to the inner surface of the grill body 9 are provided to the frame body 4 while high voltage is applied between the electrode plate 6 and the needle electrode 10 from a high voltage generation part. As mentioned above, by forming the electrode plate 6 by forming a plate body having a large number of vent orifices 12 into a cylindrical form to connect the end parts thereof and arranging the same, the structure becomes simple and an assembling property is enhanced.</p> |
