摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a measuring apparatus generating no moisture measuring error in spite of the abrupt change in the concn. of O2 in gas to be measured, constituted so that the volume of the gas flowing through a semipermeable membrane type dehumidifier, which dehumidifies gas to be measured containing O2 and steam to generate reference gas, is reduced to 1/2 or less that of a reference gas flow passage. CONSTITUTION:A gas sump. chamber 22 is provided to a flow passage 5 of gas 6 to be measured containing O2 and steam so as to be pierced through the flow passage wall 5a thereof and not only fine pores 21 for taking in the gas 6 are provided to the leading end of said gas sump. chamber 22 but also a dust removing filter 25 is mounted thereto and the gas sump. chamber 22 is inserted through a mount pipe 7. A bottomed cylindrical solid electrolyte element 1 made of zirconia, which has a measuring electrode 2 and a reference electrode 3 respectively attached to the bottom outer surface and inner surface thereof, and a measuring gas suction pipe 23 are inserted into the gas supm. chamber 22 and gas is sent to a semipermeable membrane type dehumidifier 30 through said suction pipe 23 while dehydrated dry gas is sent into the element 1 as reference gas through a gas injection pipe 11. The volume of the measuring gas flow passage of this dehumidifier 30 is reduced to 1/2 that of the flow passage of the dry gas 13 to shorten the time difference between the time when the dry gas reaches the electrode 3 and the time when the measuring gas is contacted with the electrode 2 to prevent the generation of a measuring error in spite of the abrupt change in the concn. of O2.
