PURPOSE:To make ripples smaller while the rise responding speed of the surface potential of a photosensitive body is increased, by changing the responding speed of an inversional amplifier circuit in accordance with the difference between the output voltage of the inversional amplifier circuit and that of a reference power source. CONSTITUTION:A DC high-voltage power source 1 compares the output voltage of a reference power source 2 and that of an inversional amplifier circuit 3 with each other and, when the output voltage of the circuit 3 is a little higher than that of the power source 2, generates a lower high voltage. When the output voltage of the circuit 3 is much higher than that of the power source 2, the power source 1 generates a higher high voltage. A controller 7 compares the output voltage of the reference power source 2 and that of the inversional amplifier circuit 3 with each other and supplies such control signals to the inversional amplifier circuit 3 that delay the responding speed of the circuit 3 a little when the latter is a little higher than the former and increase the responding speed the latter is much higher than the former. In short, the controller 7 changes the responding speed of the inversional amplifier circuit 3 proportionally to the difference between the output voltage of the inversional amplifier circuit 3 that of a reference power source 2. |
