PURPOSE:To easily align optical axes, by forming a base with a material which can be etched and, after etching the base in a prescribed pattern, arranging optical parts and a prism to the etched part. CONSTITUTION:When a mask of a prescribed pattern is closely contacted with a base 11 made of photosensitive glass, in which metallic colloid is formed and which is colored when the base 11 is heated by irradiating ultraviolet rays, and the base 11 is heated by means of ultraviolet rays, metal contained in the part irradiated by the ultraviolet rays crystallizes. Then the base 11 is etched with fluoric acid. After etching, corresponding optical parts, namely, a prism 2 to which the 1st film 3, 2nd film 4 which transmits light having a wavelength lambda1 and reflects light having a wavelength lambda2, and 3rd film 5 which transmits the light of lambda2 and reflects the light of lambda>=1 are stuck is fitted to a prism fitting position 12 and a lens 7 is fitted to a lens fitting position 13. An optical fiber holder 17 holding an optical fiber 8 is fitted to an optical fiber holder fitting position 14 and another optical fiber holder 17 holding another optical fiber 9 is fitted to another optical fiber holder fitting position 15. The 3rd optical fiber holder 17 holding the 3rd optical fiber 10 is fitted to the 3rd optical fiber holder fitting position 16. |
