PURPOSE:To improve developability and to obviate the generation of printing staining by providing a photosensitive layer contg. o-naphthoquinone diazide sulfonate obtd. by condensation polymn. of pyrogallol and acetone and novolak resin on an aluminum plate. CONSTITUTION:This printing plate material has the photosensitive layer contg. the o-naphthoquinone diazide sulfonate of the resin obtd. by the condensation polymn. of the pyrogallol and acetone (40-70% degree of esterification for unit skeleton of the resin) and the novolak resin on the aluminum sheet of which the sand-dressed surface is subjected to an anodic oxidation treatment. The o-naphthoquinone diazide sulfonate compd. of the condensation polymn. resin of the pyrogallol and acetone to be used is obtd. by dissolving the pyrogal lol into the acetone and inducing the condensation polymn. in the presence of a hydrochloric acid, phosphorus oxychloride, oxalic acid, etc. to obtain the polymer. Such condensation polymn. resin is dissolved in a suitable solvent, for example, dioxane, etc. and o-naphthoquinone diazide sulfonic acid chloride is charged thereto and an alkali carbonate is added dropwise thereto to the equiv. point, by which said compd. is esterified and synthesized. |
