POWER STEERING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a rotary seal member that separates an oil path for supply and exhaust in a housing by providing a hydraulic control valve in the thick section of the housing and driving and controlling the hydraulic control valve using a control member that is secured to an outer wheel. CONSTITUTION:A housing 4 consists of an intermediate cover 4a that is fixed to the one end opening side of a power cylinder 7 and a rear housing 4b that is fixed to the cover 4a. A control valve 5 is arranged in the intermediate cover 4a in the direction intersection the axial line of a stub shaft 2. The control valve 5 consists of a spool 11 with land sections 11a to 11d and an accommodation section 12 that accommodates this spool. The valve controls the actuating oil flowing between a hydraulic pump 13 and actuating chambers 8 and 9 by using the edge section of the land section and annular proruded sections 12a and 12b.
