PURPOSE:To design the constitution of memory functions of many kinds optimally by forming memory-function constituting regions to predetermined sections in fundamental cells constituting a logic function and shaping memory or logic-function constituting regions in wiring regions among the fundamental cell rows. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of semiconductor elements are arranged regularly to prescribed sections in wiring regions 6 to form memory or logic-function regions 7, and extended and shaped in approximately parallel with fundamental cell rows 5. The memory or logic-function regions 7 are used apart from or in combination with fundamental cells 4 as required when memory functions or logic functions are constituted, and employed as the wiring regions 6. A memory-function constituting region 8 is shaped to a predetermined section in an internal integrated circuit for a semiconductor integrated circuit device 1. The memory-function constituting region 8 can constitute a random access memory exclusively. |
