<p>PURPOSE:To permit to secure adhesive force for a long period of time even under a corrosive circumstance by a method wherein the layer of hot-melt adhesive, obtained by adding a base polymer such as polyolefin resin, polyamide resin, polyester resin or the like with the specified weight of powder of caustic lime or slaked lime, is provided on the necessary part of at least one surface of rubber or plastic layer, having thermal recovery and employed for waterproofing of the joint of electric cable or the like. CONSTITUTION:Caustic lime and slaked lime are not changed even they are heated and mixed at 100-200 deg.C. When 100 parts by weight of hot-melt synthetic resin is added with 1-30 parts by weight of caustic or slaked lime, adhesive force is not changed and rustproof property is secured for a long period of time. The reason is considered that the surface of iron is kept in strong alkaline property. In case the adding amount is less than 1pts.wt., the rustproof property is not sufficient and the adhesive force is deteriorated while a sufficient initial adhesive strength can not be obtained when more than 30 parts by weight of limes is added.</p> |
