PURPOSE:To automatically regulate water level in a paddy field, by a method wherein an outlet pipe, to which a float is coupled, is installed in a hole part in a paddy field, and a cover, with which the one end of the outlet pipe is closed when the water level is increased to an upper limit, is installed, and the other end of the outlet pipe is coupled to an irrigation canal through a water pipe. CONSTITUTION:When a water level in a paddy field 1 is lowered, the level of a float 5 is lowered along with the water level in the paddy field 1, and the outlet of an outlet pipe 8 is also lowered. A quantity of water flowing out through the outlet of the outlet pipe 8 is increased, and the water level in the paddy field 1 is raised. When the water level in the paddy field 1 is raised higher than a set value, the level of a float 5 is raised, the outlet of the outlet pipe 8 is also raised, and the water level in the paddy field 1 is lowered. When a water level in the irrigation canal 3 is abnormally raised and the water level in the paddy field 1 is raised to an upper limit, the outlet of the outlet pipe 8 is raised to a cover 9, and the outlet pipe is closed to stop the flow-out of water. |
