PURPOSE:To facilitate adjusting the oscillation angle of an oscillating fan by the mechanism comprising a leaf spring pressing a connecting plate one end of which engages a center shaft of oscillation and an assembly wherein the other end of the connecting plate engages a shaft directly coupling with a motor shaft through reduction gears. CONSTITUTION:An oscillation angle adjuster of an oscillating fan comprises a leaf spring 13 which presses a connecting plate 1 against an oscillation center shaft 4 that engages a plurality of semicircular notches 2 formed in the connecting plate 1 and a shaft 5 directly coupled with the shaft of a motor 6 through reduction gears. An oscillation angle is adjusted by sliding the connecting plate 1 to a position wherein one of the semicircular notches 2 can engage the oscillation center shaft 4. Thus, the oscillation angle can be easily adjusted in a simple one step operation without the necessity of using any tool.
