PURPOSE:To obtain a one side electric galvanized steel plate having a non- plating surface which is excellent in chemical conversion treating property by forming a thin plating layer on a plating unnecessary surface in the first stage of plating, executing a plating treatment, and thereafter, executing an electrolytic pickling, and removing the thin plating of the non-plating surface. CONSTITUTION:When executing an electric galvanizing continuously to one side of a steel plate by using an acidic plating liquid, 5-1,000ppm Ni is contained in advance in a plating bath. when executing the plating treatment, first a thin plating layer of an extent that it is dissolved and disappears when a strip passing has been completed is formed on a plating necessary surface, too. Subsequently, one electric galvanizing is performed by a usual treatment. After the plating treatment, impurities precipitated by a very small quantity on the non-plating surface are removed by executing the washing and the electrolytic pickling by using the non-plating surface as an anode. According to this method, a one side electric galvanized steel plate having the non-plating surface which is clean and excellent in chemical conversion treating property is obtained easily.
