NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula I (X is alkylene which may be branched; Y is amino or cyclic amino group which may be sustituted). EXAMPLE:N-[11-(3,4-Dihydroxyphenyl)undecyl]formamide. USE:Antiallergic: it is used as a preventive or remedy for bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, urtication, ischemic cardiopathy and inflammation. PREPARATION:A (3,4-di-substituted phenyl)alkanol of formula II (R<1> is H, hydroxyl-protecting group) is halogenated to give a compound of formula III (Hal is halogen), then the product is allowed to react with an amine, when needed, deprotected to give the compound of formula I. |
