PRODUCTION OF INORGANIC FIBER

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain an inorg. fiber having excellent tensile strength by calcining the gel-like fiber formed from a soln. under gelation reaction after hydrolyzing a specific alkoxide soln. while applying tension to the fiber. CONSTITUTION:The soln. of alkoxide such as silicon alkoxide contg. 0.01-10wt% silane coupling agent (e.g.; gamma aminopropyl methoxysilane) is hydrolyzed and the gel-like fiber is drawn out of the soln. under gelation reaction and is dried. The dried gel-like fiber is then calcined under 1-100g/mm<2> tension applied thereto.
