PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration in conversion gain by providing a phase shift means giving a phase difference to two input signals inputted respectively to each input terminal in a mixer circuit comprising a double balanced type multiplier circuit having two input terminals and one output terminal. CONSTITUTION:A delay circuit 16 as the phase shift means is inserted to one input terminal 2 of the two input terminals 1, 2. The delay circuit 16 gives a prescribed phase difference between the two input signals V1, V2, that is, a prescribed delay time td in this case. The delay time td, in this case, is set as 90 deg.-theta0 or 270 deg.-theta0 is a specific phase difference (delay time) given between the two signals V1, V2 by the circuit 16. The effect of DC component fluctuation due to frequencies is cancelled by giving a phase difference to the two input signals to the double balanced multiplier circuit and selecting properly the phase difference, and the DC bias at the output terminal is kept normally to prevent the deterioration in the conversion gain.
