PURPOSE:To produce an incense stick emitting good scent and improved smell of incense stick in burning, by adding the powder of lavender flower together with a synthetic perfume and a binder to the powder of cedar leaf, kneading the mixture with a proper amount of hot water, extruding to a proper length, and drying the product. CONSTITUTION:The powder of lavender flower is added together with a slight amount of synthetic perfumery and a binder to the powder of cedar leaf, and the mixture is kneaded with a proper amount of water and extruded with an extruder. The extrudate is cut to a proper length to obtain a straight or spiral incense stick. The characteristic smell of incense stick generated by the burning of rosin of the cedar incense stick can be suppressed, the splendid fragrance of lavender can be sublimed and the effect same as that of the product sold in the name of perfume incense stick can be attained at a lower cost.
