PURPOSE:To manufacture the titled conductor superior in heat resistance and flexibility without decreasing conductivity and strength, by adding Fe, Cu, Be, etc. to Al-Zr conductive Al alloy, and hot and cold rolling said alloy under specified conditions. CONSTITUTION:Molten conductive Al alloy contg. by weight 0.1-0.8% Zr, 0.07-0.8% Fe, 0.05-0.3% Si, 0.05-0.5% Cu, 0.005-0.3% Be is poured into continuous casting and rolling mill at 740-850 deg.C, cooled at >=2 deg.C/sec rate and solidified. While cooling obtd. ingot at >=60 deg.C/min, hot rolling is started at <=550 deg.C by >=40% draft, the rolling is finished at <=350 deg.C, and rough drawing wire is obtd. Successively, said wire is heated to 300-450 deg.C for 10-200hr, cooled then cold rolled by >=60% draft, to manufacture Al alloy conductor superior in heat resistance and flexibility without decreasing conductivity and strength.
