PURPOSE:To make a depth size of a main body as small as possible, to produce a thin type unit and to enable an effective use of indoor space by a method wherein the main body is made to have a cross section of S-shape, an outdoor unit is formed below the main body and an indoor unit is arranged above the main body. CONSTITUTION:A main body 3 of an air conditioner passing through a wall is formed as S-shape in respect to an indoor side A and an outdoor side B, side plates 20 and 21 are adhered to the air conditioner so as to form the outdoor unit 6 and the indoor unit 7. A compressor 10, an outdoor blower 11 and an outdoor heat exchanger 12 are stored in the outdoor unit 6. An indoor blower 15, an indoor heat exchanger 16 are stored in the indoor unit 7. A grill 18 is arranged at the outdoor unit 6, thereby the outdoor air is flowed from the suction port 9 and discharged from the blowing port 9, and in turn a grill 19 of the indoor unit 7 is arranged, the indoor air is flowed at the suction port 13 and blown into the room from the blowing port 14, the outdoor air is shut by the frame which is integrally formed with S-shape form to increase a density of immersed rain water and so the indoor air is not leaked out of the room. |
