PURPOSE:To greatly improve the durability of photo-sensitive resin plates as well as permit solid-printing to be performed by a method in which ink is scraped out in such a way as to support a doctor blade on the surface of a base. CONSTITUTION:A planar recession of uniform depth is formed on the surface of a base plate 1 by etching, etc., and a liquid photo-sensitive resin 3 is cast into the recession. Excessive resin is scraped away from the surface of the base plate 1 by means of a doctor blade, etc., to form a flat resin layer. In this case, ink is scraped out in such a way as to support the pressing force of the doctor blade on the surface of the peripheral side of the recession on the plate 1. Since the pressing force of the doctor blade is not directly acted on the recessed portion of the resin plate, no damage to the resin plate by doctor blade occurs.
