Device for showing static pictures arranged on rigid plates contained in a box. One plate 5 is supported by a pivoting lever 11. When the lever is released, the plate tips over and catches on a rod 4 which holds it up. When the plate drops back, it slides on a slope 22 which restores it to its original position. <IMAGE>
