For the transmission of instructions sent between a ground station and a flying object the instructions are encoded using a number of carrier frequencies. These frequencies become the signal operating frequencies. The frequency signals are time multiplexed, and each frequency is transmitted for the same, preset, time period. In the receiver there are circuits which respond only to particular carrier frequencies, and further circuits pass the encoded messages to the executing circuit when the signal has been received for a longer time than a given minimum period. The transmission time is pref. 10 milliseconds and the received signal validation time 7 milliseconds. Any frequency at or near the particular carrier frequency whose received duration is less than the limiting time is thus ignored.
