PURPOSE:To substantially reduce the time to determine the wiring route between terminals, by segmenting the area and searching the continuous segments where wiring is possible between the desired terminal, and then calculating the distance between the terminals and display them in the order of shorter distance. CONSTITUTION:The 1st means classifies the area surrounded by the already existing wirings and displayed on the display device into plural segments. The 2nd means determines continuous segments n, n+1, n+2, by judging whether their wave is cyclic like 1 2 3 1. The 3rd means searches optional points on the borders of the continuous segments. The 4th means works out the wiring route between the yet-to-be-connected terminals through the already known wiring route in the order of shorter distance, and displays the aforesaid optional points on the segment border on the display device. In this way, the already existing wiring pattern to be corrected is shown by these points, and as it is shown in the order of shorter distance, the most suitable wiring route can be determined in a short time.
