<p>PURPOSE:To perform optimum three-dimensional working by inputting a two-dimensional area shape element for designating a working area, onto an XY plane of a graphic output device on which a two-dimensional projection drawing of a work has been displayed. CONSTITUTION:A closed two-dimensional area surrounded by line segments L1-L4 is designated as a working area by a keyboard 1, and a coordinate value of two points of both ends is inputted. A two-dimensional shape element operating part 2 inputs each line segment L1-L4 as a mathematical expression, based on a command from the keyboard 1. A work area determining part 3 selects and reads out data related to F1-F8 from a shape model data memory 7, a working area display part 5 displays an edge line by a designated color on a graphic output device, based on data related to faces F1-F8, and a shape model display part 8 receives data of all edge lines, and displays an XY plane projection drawing of a shape model of a work on a CRT 6 in accordance with a start signal SS. In this way, optional plural pictures of a work of a three-dimensional shape can be designated as a working area, and NC data of high working efficiency can be generated.</p> |
