To print out the document stored in the document file SF of MEM 2 using a printer 9, first the SI reads the data in the SF specified by the contents of printing cursor PC 21 according to the printer control table, and then the data read by S2 is checked whether they are character codes. In this way, many types of font can be used in one sentence Further, more, it is an input of mark of font sprcification in display and in memory, correction and editing can be done easily.
