The present invention relates to a device for producing special lighting effects. The device according to the invention is characterized in that it comprises a power light beam generator 1, at least one optical fibre 15 having at least one input face 14, at least a portion of the lateral surface of the said fibre beam being covered with a piece of ice 20, and means 18, 12 for coupling the output of the said power light beam generator with the said input face of the said fibre.
