PURPOSE:To compel wearing a safety belt to improve safety of passengers, by forming a device where a clutch operation is impossible without wearing a safety belt by connecting electrically the safety belt and the clutch pedal. CONSTITUTION:At the beginning side of the turning route of a clutch pedal 51, is arranged a body 1 with U-shape section which consists of a plate 1A, and the right side and left side walls 1B and 1C at the end of the plate 1A. At the upper side of the wall 1B of the body 1 is formed an opening 1B', where a pedal go-down stopper 3 is furnished swaying freely. At the position of the crasp 3 outside the wall 1B, is fixed a frame 1D with a U-shape section, and the top of the stopper 3 is placed having a power of projecting into the body 1, by a spring 4 between the frame 1D and the stopper 3. At the top of the frame 1D is furnished an electromagnet 2 which draws the stopper 3 against the spring 4 when a current is applied, and the current is controlled to apply only when the beltside clasp 7 is engaged with the belt receptacle 8. |
