<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the program searching operation of an video recording and reproducing system by comparing the present-time information signal included in the video signal to be reproduced with a set time information signal and in response to the comparison output, by controlling the feeding of a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:If a write-in command 20 is given at the time of recording, the time information signal 6d from a calender/clock generating circuit 1 is supplied to an amplfication circuit 6 via a control circuit 2 to be superposed on an video signal 6a, and is recorded in a tape 10. The time information to be correspondent to the position of the write-in command 20 at the time reproducing is set in a search calender/ setting circuit 4 while a search command 21 is supplied to a search circuit 3. The recorded video signal, thereby, is reproduced by a head 9b. Also, the present-time information signal 7b to be superposed on an video 7a is derived from an amplification circuit 7, and supplied to a signal search circuit 3. The time information signal and another time information signal that represents the time information to be set in the search calender/clock setting circuit 4 are compared with each other, and its output is supplied to a tape drive control circuit 5 so that a tape-driving device 8 stops the tape at the position correspondent to the write-in command 20.</p> |
