The subject of the invention relates to a first certificate of addition to the main patent, for a hydraulic pin cutter for surgical use. It consists of the addition to the part of the cylinder 2 of a complete and symmetric opening 7 with a lower face 8 which is profiled with a chamfer and an upper face 9 with grooves 10 forming a guide for bending pins. It is intended for the progressive folding, with minimal effort, without jolting, of steel plates and pins used in human and animal surgery during osteosynthesis. <IMAGE>
