<p>PURPOSE:To improve the intermittent travelling accuracy of a tape by constituting the titled device so as to stop the driving of a capstan motor when a reproducing head reproduces, upon start of tape travel, a control pulse recorded by a recording head. CONSTITUTION:An intermittent tape drive device 1 pinches the tape 4 by means of a pinch roller abutting on a capstan spindle 2, and drives intermittently the tape 4 by the capstan motor 2a. The travel route of the tape 4 is provided with the recording head 6 for recording the control pulse on said tape 4 and the reproducing head 7, which is installed appropriately away from the head 6, for reproducing the control pulse recorded by the head 6. When the head 7 reproduces the control pulse recorded by the head 6 after the tape 4 started to travel, the tape 4 stops traveling. Thus, a constant travel quantity of the tape is always obtained to improve the intermittent travel accuracy of the tape.</p> |
