PURPOSE:To read control information of the minimum number of sensors by providing a photodetecting part for receiving reflected light from a light reflecting tape, on the front part and the rear part of a moving car, respectively, and photodetecting selectively light from this photodetecting part by one photosensor. CONSTITUTION:A moving car A provided with a load placing base 1 which can be driven and lifted freely is provided, plural load moving and placing stations ST are provided on the side part of a moving car running path, the moving car A is run between the stations, and a carrying work of various loads is executed. The front and the rear light emitting devices 5F, 5R for projecting light to a light reflecting tape 4 from the front and the rear of each photodetecting part SF, SR, are provided, respectively, and light from each photodetecting part SF, SR is photodetected by one photosensor 6 through a condensing lens 16 by changing its optical path direction by a photodetecting path S provided with plural prisms 14 and a half mirror 15. Also, by turning on the use side of the light emitting devices 5F, 5R and turning off the non-use side, a photodetecting part selecting means for using selectively that of the front side and that of the rear side at the time of moving forward and moving backward, respectively, with regard to the photodetecting parts SF, SR is constituted. That is to say, control information can be read by one sensor. |
