PURPOSE:To obtain a quick responsive combustion control equipment for detecting flame by a method wherein the flame is detected utilizing by electrical conductivity effect of the flame itself without necessitating AC power. CONSTITUTION:Indoor open type gas hot air heater comprises the combustion air circulating path 1 for inducing an indoor air, which is burnt down and after that re-deliver to indoor rooms, the gas leading path 2 for supplying the gas with the combustion air circulating path 1, and also the electronic control ling circuit 3 for driving and controlling the combustion air circulating path 1 and the gas leading path 2. The electronic control circuit 3 produces a jump spark discharge at the upper surface of the gas burner 105, ignites combustion flame, detects the flames by the discharge electrode 301 at the upper position of a pilot burner 203, and further performs driving and controlling a convection blower 103 in the combustion air circulating path 1, main valve V1, slow ignition valve V2, by-pass valve V3 and the like in the gas leading path 2.
