PURPOSE:To provide a radiator which does not suck air into a steam generator when liquid is returned to the generator, by fitting a check valve such as a float valve, for example, which opens and closes by the liquid level in a condensate reservoir, to the end of a condensate pipe in said reservoir. CONSTITUTION:When a steam generator 4 cools down, the steam pressure inside the generator is decreased, and when it gets below the atmospheric pressure, condensate begins to return toward the steam generator 4 from condensate reservoirs 13, 13' and 13''. When the quantity of condensate in the condensate reservoir 13 decreases down to the lower aperture 16 of a float valve 12, a ball float 14 is sucked to be closely abutted against a valve seat 15, preventing the air from coming into a condensate pipe 11. Then the condensate in a radiator 8 returns to the steam generator 4, and the float valve 12 is closed when the quantity of condensate decreased down to the lower aperture 16 of a float valve 12 in the same operating principle as the above, and further, next reflux operation is started from the radiator. In such a manner, the whole quantity of operating fluid conveyed from the steam generator can be returned to the steam generator from a plurality of radiators, preventing the air from coming into the operating fluid. |
