PURPOSE:To improve the traveling performance by installing a bending suppressing band in fleshed-up form onto the inner peripheral side in the vicinity of the boundary position between the hardly bent part at the center part including a core metal and the bendable wing parts at the both edges, thus increasing the width of a crawler without increasing the weight. CONSTITUTION:A rubber crawler body 1 consists of a core metal 2, steel cords 3, and the longer lugs 4 and the shorter lugs 4' installed alternately, keeping a certain interval, on the grounded surface side. A bending suppressing band 5 which protrudes in fleshed-up form with a certain width is installed onto the inner peripheral side in the vicinity of the boundary position between the hardly bent part of the center part Y-Y and the bendable wing parts on the both edges. A concaved part 6 is drilled at the position corresponding to the longer lugs 4 on the inner peripheral side of the bending suppressing belt 5, and the mud separating action on the grounded surface side can be developed effectively. The outer edge part of the steel cord 3 is installed so as to protrude by a certain range (f) from within the projection range of the bending suppressing band 5, i.e., outside the both edge parts of the core metal 2. |
