PURPOSE:To operate a robot accurately and to measure an object on a mounting base accurately by moving a detection element in three dimensions by a robot mechanism, and providing a movement track storage device for the operation of the robot. CONSTITUTION:The three-dimensional measuring machine 2 is provided on the mounting base 1 and the robot mechanism 4 is operated under the command of an operation commanding device 3 stored with a movement track. Further, the probe shaft 18 with a touch signal probe 17 is moved up and down (Z axis), a slider 16 is moved to right and left (X axis), and a column 14 is moved forth and back (Y axis) to measure the object 11. At this time, the robot mechanism is operated on the basis of data containing a movement track and the body to be measured is measured from the output signal of the displacement detector of the detection element 17. Thus, the movement track storage device is provided, so the operation of the robot mechanism is only simulated by a trained operator to store data on it, and then a measurement is easily taken with high precision. |
