PURPOSE:To improve adhesion between a support and a photographic emulsion layer even under high temp. and high humidity by forming a subbing layer made of a polymer contg. at least one of Fe, Co, Ni, Mn, Ce, and Cu, and their ions on a hydrophobic support. CONSTITUTION:The subbing layer made of a polymer, preferably, such as copolymer of diene type monomer, formed on the hydrophobic support, preferably, made of a biaxially stretched heat set polyethylene terephthalate, contains Fe, Co, Ni, Mn, Ce, and Cu. |
