PURPOSE:To enable the seat support strength to be increased by allowing a pair of lower rails for supporting the seat on the floor panel to be supported by the floor panel through three points of a hook coupled with the hooked fitting and afront and a rear brackets when the seat is subjected to a upward load. CONSTITUTION:The operation of a seat belt S accompanied with a collision of a car and others allows a load to be exerted upward on a pair of lower rails installed on the floor panel 1 of a body B by way of a seat 10 and a right and a left slide rails 11f and 11r permitting the lower rail 2 to be bent somewhat upward in a form of a convex. Then, as a hook 8 which is an integral part of the lower rail 2 is engaged with a hooked fitting 9 which is an integral part of the floor 1, the lower rail 2 is supported by the floor 1 through three points of a front and a rear brackets 5 and 6, and the hook 8 which is engaged with the hooked fitting 9 each other. Accordingly, the lower rail 2 allows the deflection due to bending to be restrained permitting an excessive upward load to be positively transmitted to the floor 1 by way of the above mentioned three points. This enables the strength of the seat support section to be increased. |
