PURPOSE:To obtain a composite roll of a high quality by providing an electromagnetic stirring device on a composite roll manufacturing device of a gas pressure system, and maintaining a molten metal temperature in a thermal condition for satisfying a cast-in condition. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic stirring device 23 is provided on a composite roll manufacturing device, by which a molten metal pouring into a hollow part of an outer layer material 5 is stirred. In case this molten metal is not stirred, when the molten metal contacts to a surface to be cast-in, a temperature drops remarkably, and sometimes the complete junction is difficult. However, by stirring the molten metal, a molten metal temperature of the surface to be cast-in can be maintained in a thermal condition for satisfying a cast-in condition at all times, and the junction can be executed completely.
