摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the superior cam profiling accuracy with the necessary min. limit of spark-out by detecting the grinding resistance is one revolution of a cam in a spark-out and suspending spark-out on the basis of the reduction of the grinding resistance below a set standard resistance. CONSTITUTION:When spark-out processing is started, the max. grinding resistance Fmax in one revolution of a cam is obtained on the basis of the detector 47, and the obtained max. grinding resistance is compared and discriminated from a standard resistance F0 memorized in a memory 44, and when it is judged that the max. grinding resistance Fmax becomes less than the standard resistance F0, the retreat of a wheel spindle stock 11 is instructed, and spark-out is completed. Therefore, even if the left amount in out of a cam varies through the variation of the grinding resistance during grinding work in a trueing interval, the spark-out is controlled according to the left amount in cut, i.e., grinding resistance, and the superior cam profiling accuracy can be obtained with the necessary min. limit of spark-out.
