<p>A power transmission assembly which serves to drive a variable-r.p.m. machine, normally in a lower r.p.m. range and if necessary in a higher r.p.m. range. The assembly comprises essentially the following elements which are arranged coaxially in relation to one another. An input shaft (10) is connected via a hydrodynamic actuating clutch (11) with an intermediate shaft (12). With the latter rotates the pump impeller (25) of an adjustable hydrodynamic torque converter (15). The turbine wheel (26) of the latter rotates with a brakable superimposed shaft (16). The intermediate shaft (12) and the superimposed shaft (16) are linked by means of a differential gear (13) with an output shaft.</p> |
