In a hand tool (1), with a percussion body which can be actuated by a repeated percussion sequence, and a magazine (8) which is provided with an attachment sleeve (5), an ejection channel (9), a driving plunger (6, tongue 7), guided in the ejection channel (9) and operable by the percussion body, and a feed housing (14), is preferably connectable and in the ejection channel (9) of which the parts (11) to be driven in can be inserted perpendicularly to the axis, the feed housing (14) being adjustably held in the attachment sleeve (5) and being displaceable against the latter and the forward movement of the driving plunger (6, 7) when driving in a part, a control member (21) which can be displaced into two end positions by the feed housing (14) is fitted in the attachment sleeve (5) in order to protect against a second part, to be driven in, being driven in before a first part to be driven in is completely ejected, and a locking member (30) interacting with the attachment sleeve (5) is attached to the feed housing (14), by means of which locking member (30) and the control member (21) the restoring movement of the feed housing (14) and consequently the insertion of a second part, to be driven in, into the ejection channel (9) before a driving operation is complete can be automatically locked. Jamming of nails or staples in the ejection channel (9) is thereby reliably avoided. <IMAGE>
