The contact part is produced integrally from a sprung contact strip. The contact strip has a provision for mounting on an apparatus, a contact element and a contact connection for the centre terminal of an incandescent lamp, which centre terminal is constructed as a flat plug. The contact strip is doubled at one of the two ends by folding transversely with respect to its longitudinal direction, and the contact strip is bent to form an eye in the region of the bending line of the fold. The folded limb rests in a prestressed manner against the other limb and each limb has an opening for the flat plug. The openings in the limbs are arranged offset with respect to one another in such a manner that in each case one end edge of the openings rests in a prestressed manner against the broad sides of the flat plug.
